The PNG Institute of Management (PNGIM) is a registered entity in Papua New Guinea, providing quality international training and development for Papua New Guineans through its international affiliates. PNGIM has been operating since 2007 and has successfully delivered PNG tailored training programs to PNG businesses. It is a registered, certified training organization with the National Training Council (NTC). 

Our courses are internationally designed and are tailored to reflect the PNG business environment. They are facilitated by New Zealand and Australian trainers who are also registered and certified with NTC. Our trainers are assisted in the training room by one to two national trainers to further enhance the training experience. PNGIM offers a range of courses to suit all levels of business, from frontline staff development right through to senior and general management.

The National Training Council is a statutory body legislated through the Act of the Parliament in 1991, following the adaptation of the National Training Policy in 1989.


MISSION
To effectively foster the delivery of vocational and technical
training and human resource development in all sector of the economy.

MAJOR GOALS OF THE COUNCIL

1. Foster the comprehensive development of training with regards to the needs and resource of the country.

2. Increase the quality and delivery of all forms of training in order to achieve knowledge and skills upgrading for all citizen.

3. Ensure that available resources and training facilities are coordinated to provide an adequate supply of persons with required skills, knowledge and employment experience to meet the needs of private and public sectors.

4. Enhance productivity in all sectors of the economy through integrated skills training with quality and productivity training and advice. 

5. Establish, preserve and improve standards of training provided by institutions, employers and government |
agencies throughout the country.

6. Continually manage and review the services provided through the National Training Council Secretariat so that it continues to be client focused, thus ensuring that clients’ needs are met effectively and efficiently.


The PNG Institute of Management (PNGIM) is a registered training organisation with the National Training Council of Papua New Guinea (NTC) since2007, registration number NTC 112. Our courses as well as our trainers are all accredited with the NTC as we believe in bringing, to our local businesses, quality, international courses that are conducted by international consultant trainers for the social and economic benefit of Papua New Guineans.
